I am watching the BMX for the first time at the Beijing Olympics. The course has a number of interesting turns and jumps. It is also a mixture of dirt and asphalt surfaces. It is a far cry from what I remember BMX tracks to be when I was growing up.

It looks like there are also some interesting characters in the BMX with an Australian who goes by the name “Kamikaze”.

I am fairly sure it will become a popular event at the Olympics.
