The first events of the Beijing Olympics are due to start any minute now. The match being shown on China’s CCTV is Brazil and Germany which is on in Shenyang. Here is a full schedule of all of the games today.

It started at 5 p.m. local time and the stadium doesn’t look too full. Understandably, it is still a little early, China is not playing and it is not in Beijing, but I thought all of the tickets were sold out.

It’s exciting finally to see an actual Olympic event!
