The Chinese Government’s clean up of Beijing has been taken one step further, as ambitious building programs have not made the deadline of today, the official start of the Olympic Games. And so, in an attempt to tidy up the streetscapes of construction sites, these incomplete buildings in a retail strip have been hidden away with giant fake facades. With the eyes of the world watching, China is keen to portray an image of a perfect city during the Olympic Games.
