Australian basketballer Erin Phillips posed nude for men’s magazine - Alpha.

“Any publicity for basketball is good publicity,” said Basketball Australia spokesman Ben Hawes.

“We don’t think they’re too raunchy. There are a lot of other girls in other sports doing similar things.”

Australia has won medals at every Olympics since 1996 in women’s basketball.

She caused a bit of controversy with her comment in the magazine, “We’re not going to be team USA’s little bitch.”

At the recently played tournament in Beijing to warm up for the Olympics, China finished in first place, followed by the U.S. and Australia beat Cuba to take out the bronze medal.
