The Beijing Olympics are rapidly drawing near and the preparations seem to be going along fairly smoothly. Phase two of ticket sales will begin this month.

Twenty stadiums have already be been put to use, hosting the Good Luck Beijing warm-up events. 900 volunteers have already been chosen to work at the games.

In the women’s softball event played between China, Chinese Taipei, Australia and Canada, China beat Australia 4-1 in the final.
