Walton Eller of U.S. wins gold medal in Men’s Double Trap shooting

Walton Eller from the United States has won a gold medal in the men’s double trap with a final score of 190, which included an Olympic record qualification of 145.

Walton Eller is a shotgun shooter with the Army Marksmanship Unit, Fort Benning, Ga. He enlisted in the Army in September 2006 and was assigned to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Shotgun Team in January 2007. He started shooting in 1990 at the age of 8.

Italian Francesco D Aniello won the silver medal with a final score of 187 and the bronze medal went to China’s Hu Binyuan who scored 184.
