Microsoft Windows crash caught on camera at the opening ceremony of the Olympics

The technology and gadget blog Gizmodo reports that while Li Ning was running around with the torch, a Microsoft Windows computer which was being projected onto the rim of the stadium - crashed.

Any user of Windows will have seen the display at some point, the blue background with a bunch of gray-white error codes. It otherwise known as the “blue screen of death” or BSOD for short.

There already has been some controversy after it was found that computer graphics were used in the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.
