Laoshan Velodrome

Laoshan Velodrome was a newly constructed stadium for track cycling at the Beijing Olympics. It is located in Shijingshan District, Beijing, China.

The stadium can hold 6,000 spectators, but the capacity will be reduced after the Olympics.

The velodrome was designed by Schuermann Architects, well-known for their design of several world-class venues. Examples include the ADT Event Center in Carson, CA and the UCI Cycling Center in Aigle, Switzerland.
