Katie Hoff on fire at U.S. Olympic swimming trials

Katie Hoff won the women’s 400 meters freestyle at the U.S. swimming trials just after setting a world record for the 400 meter individual medley.

Brendan Hansen won the 100 meters breaststroke earning a place in the Olympic team. He holds the world record for the event.

Christine Magnuson won the women’s 100 butterfly also earning her first spot on an Olympic team.

Michael Phelps officially gained his spot on the Olympic team by winning and setting a world record in the 400 meter medley.
