Jessica Ennis ruled out of Beijing Olympics

Britain’s Olympic hopeful Jessica Ennis has been ruled out of the Beijing Olympic Games and will not be able to compete in the Heptathlon after an aggravated ankle injury.

22 year old Ennis was expected to compete for the Gold Medal alongside her friend Kelly Sotherton.

Ennis has struggled with the injury for several weeks but the stress fracture in her right ankle finally took it’s toll on the weekend.
