Doctor believes Hamm can prove medal at Olympics

Paul Hamm won Gold in the Men’s All-Round competition in Athens in 2004 and is wanting to repeat his accomplishment in Beijing. However, he’s just started recovering from hand surgery after he had broken the fourth metacarpal in his right hand.

Hamm hopes to be back on the gymnastics equipment in 5 weeks with the competition in Beijing starting on August 9th - 10 and a half weeks from now.

Hamm’s surgeon is confident he can pick up a medal at this years Summer Games.
